Marine House Association USA Celebrates the 74th Anniversary of Inchon Landing on September 13, 2024 at Camp Pendleton, California

As part of its annual events, MHA hosted the 74th anniversary of Inchon Landing by inviting more than 194 guests to look back at "Operation Chromite," a pivotal amphibious invasion that turned the tide of the Korean War in favor of the US-led UN and South Korean forces on September 15, 1950.

At Camp Pendleton, MHA staff, active-duty Marines, and guests (including 17 Korean War veterans and 3 widows of veterans) celebrated and honored the memories of those who paved way for Korea's modern democracy and the lasting friendship between the U.S. and South Korea.

VIP guests included Major General Robert C. Fulford (Commanding General, 1st Marine Division), Brigadier General Michael Nakonieczny (Deputy Commanding General, 1 MEF), Song Hwan Kwon (Deputy Consulate, Republic of Korea), and Lieutenant General Tae Sung Kim (36th Commandant, Republic of Korea Marine Corps}.
