Marines in Korean War

When the Korean War erupted in June 1950, the United States Marine Corps was far from its World War II peak. Reduced in size and resources, the Corps nonetheless answered the call with unwavering resolve. Over the next three years, Marines would fight in some of the most brutal and strategically significant battles of the 20th century—proving once again that they were America’s tip of the spear.
