MHA Chairman Park Attends Historic 250th Anniversary Celebration of the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, MHA Chairman Park attended the commemorative ceremony marking the 250th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps, held at Camp Pendleton in California. The event, which drew a crowd of over 15,000 attendees, served as a tribute to the enduring legacy, valor, and operational excellence of the Marine Corps since its founding in 1775.

Among the attendees was a distinguished group of national leaders and military officials, including Vice President JD Vance, a former Marine himself, whose presence underscored the significance of the occasion. The celebration featured a series of dynamic demonstrations that highlighted the Corps’ modern combat capabilities, including live-action amphibious landings and coordinated helicopter assault exercises. These displays showcased the Marine Corps’ continued commitment to readiness, adaptability, and joint-force integration in defense of national interests.

The anniversary event also included ceremonial honors, historical retrospectives, and remarks from senior defense officials. Chairman Park’s participation reflected the MHA’s ongoing support for interagency collaboration and its recognition of the Marine Corps’ pivotal role in safeguarding American security and projecting power across the globe.

Camp Pendleton, one of the largest Marine Corps installations in the United States, provided a fitting backdrop for the milestone celebration. The base’s coastal terrain and strategic significance have long made it a cornerstone of amphibious warfare training and expeditionary operations.

Chairman Park expressed his admiration for the Marine Corps’ storied history and reaffirmed MHA’s commitment to supporting the men and women who serve. His presence at the event symbolized a shared dedication to honoring military heritage while advancing future defense initiatives.
